There is so much to catch you all up on and this is has been the first time that I have had more than a moment on the internet. I can't tell you in the right words just how beautiful South Africa is - I can only tell you that it is absolutely breathtaking.
I only have time to write about one adventure so I will tell you of our first and greatest adventure in Cape Town. If you have ever been to Cape Town or have seen pictures you will know that Table Mountain is what defines Cape Town - just like the Statue of Liberty or Empire State Building is to New York. You can either climb the mountain or take the cable cars up. The fact that time (daylight) was not on our side we decided to take the cable cars up and make the climb down. The view from above is just amazing - the clouds are below you. We knew that we would have to complete the climb down before we lost daylight. Once we took plenty of photos from above we began to locate the trail down. A few advised against it, warning against slippery rocks and the clouds. But, we had also spoken to few people that had made the hike and told us it was something not to be missed. We went with are gut and those that recommended the hike and began our journey. The views were incredible and we were so glad we were hiking down. The only problem was that we the sun was setting quicker than we were reaching the bottom. With the stars and the little light left we made it to the road with legs of jello. To be honest we didn't know if we would make it and that definitely increased the thrill level. By then the road was pitch black and we called for a cab. It's been 3 days sense the hike down and we are still terribly sore - but we wouldn't trade that experience for anything -by far the best thing we have done.
